Anti-racism campaigner Lord Herman Ouseley has told ESPN that he wants any fans singing offensive songs about Hillsborough songs at Anfield on Sunday to be permanently kicked out of football grounds.
While supporting the call from Sir Alex Ferguson for Manchester United fans to show respect to the 96 victims of the tragedy at this weekend's confrontation between the two great North-West clubs, Lord Ouseley does not feel that the views of the well respected manager go nearly far enough.
Lord Ouseley, head of the Kick It Out campaign and an FA Council member, told ESPN: "If there is a section of fans who behave badly and sing offensive songs about Hillsborough then every effort needs to be made to track them down and mete out appropriate punishment and ban them from football grounds.
