Nuri Sahin has vowed to win a regular place in Liverpool's midfield and boost his chances of getting back into the Turkey starting line-up.

Sahin, 24, has made two starts for Brendan Rodgers' side since arriving on a season's loan from Real Madrid.
The midfielder is looking to rebuild his career at Anfield after a knee injury interrupted his progress in Spain last season.
The midfielder, who won the Bundesliga title with Borussia Dortmund two seasons ago before moving to Madrid, has fallen down the pecking order with his national team.

Sahin is set for a Liverpool debut against Arsenal on Sunday, having signed on a season's loan from Real Madrid.
Life in Spain has not worked out for the Turkey midfielder, who made his name as part of the Dortmund side who won the first of two consecutive Bundesliga titles under Klopp in 2011.
The 23-year-old is trying to resurrect his career at Anfield, a year after leaving Dortmund for an injury-hit season at Madrid, and sees elements of Klopp in Rodgers.

Nuri Sahin is not ruling out the possibility of a permanent move to Liverpool after sealing a season-long loan from Real Madrid.

Nuri Sahin has joined Liverpool on an initial season-long loan
Sahin endured a difficult debut season at the Bernabeu following his move from Borussia Dortmund last year, but there was extensive interest in his services this summer.
It is reported that Jose Mourinho was only willing to sanction a loan move as he believes the Turkey international still has a future with Madrid, but Sahin has suggested he could remain at the club beyond the end of the current campaign.

Sahin, 23, had been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool's Premier League rivals Arsenal, who are in the market for a midfielder following the sale of Alex Song to Barcelona.
However, it is reported the Gunners were seeking a loan deal for Sahin that included an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season - something Madrid were not keen on.

Nuri Sahin appears set for a move to Anfield
Jose Mourinho confirmed this week that he expected Sahin to secure a loan move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham all vying for his services.
It had been thought that Arsenal were the most likely to sign the Turkey international, but reports emerged on Friday suggesting Arsene Wenger's insistence on a permanent deal had scuppered their chances.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is hoping to close a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin in time for Saturday's trip to West Brom.

Sahin, 23, is available on a season's loan after struggling to establish himself at the Bernabeu. He has made only 10 appearances for the Spanish champions since arriving from Borussia Dortmund a year ago, and has been told he can move elsewhere in search of first-team football.
The Turkey international has been encouraged to move to Merseyside by his Real team-mate Xabi Alonso, who spent five years at Liverpool.
